Our clustered parishes will be celebrating a Healing Mass to commemorate the World Day of the Sick and the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes on Saturday, February 10, at 10:30 am in St. Luke Church. There will be an anointing of the sick and blessing of caregivers and health professionals.  All are welcome.

The World Day for the Sick was introduced by St. Pope John Paul II to help us remember to pray for all those who are ill and for their caregivers. He chose this day because it coincides with the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes; which commemorates the appearances in 1858 of Our Lady to a young French girl named Bernadette Soubirous. Lourdes has been a site of pilgrimage, renowned for healing, ever since.
