ST. LUKE's FIRST FRIDAY OUTDOOR MASS in HONOR of the MOST SACRED HEART of JESUS September 4, 2020 (8:30 AM) Come let us adore and worship our Lord, whose Sacred Heart longs to pour out upon us His graces and gifts.   All are invited. We consecrate ourselves to the Sacred Heart by acknowledging Him as Creator and Redeemer and as having full rights over us as King of kings, by repenting, and by resolving to serve Him. We also make reparation for the indifference and ingratitude with which He is treated. The devotions attached to the promises ar...

22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time Greetings from our Pastor
Dear St. Luke friends,  On this 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time, Christ is calling each one of us to be His disciples.  The call to discipleship entails a denial of our own sinful desires, our pleasures, our worldly attachments, so that we can focus more on doing what God wills for our lives.  Christ is calling us to follow Him on the way of the cross. Our sacrifices, sufferings and hardships are the crosses which lead us to life in the Spirit with Christ.  God grants us all the graces we need, and it is Christ Himself who shoulders the we...

21st Sunday in Ordinary Time Greetings
Dear St. Luke friends,  On this 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time, Christ invites us to a deeper and more personal relationship with Him. Just like St. Peter in the Gospel, we are asked by the Lord, "Who do you say that I am?"  In the silence of our hearts, let us allow His divine Spirit to speak to us and reveal who God is in our lives.  And as St. Peter testified in all ardor, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God,” let us ask for the grace to proclaim and share with others who Christ is in word and deed. In ou...

20th Sunday in Ordinary Time Greetings from our Pastor (Outdoor Masses)
Dear St. Luke friends, On this 20th Sunday in Ordinary time, Christ assures us that He is there with us in our struggles, and in the most difficult times in our lives.  Just like His encounter with the Canaanite woman, Christ is always there waiting for us to call on Him in faith.  He never tires of listening to our cries for help.  He never sends us away but draws us close to His Heart, granting us His healing mercies, forgiveness and love. Christ longs to free us from all torments and bring us to communion with Him through His real presence, mercy and...

19th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Weekend Outdoor Masses)
Dear St. Luke friends,  On this 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Christ runs to us whenever we call out to Him, "Lord, save us!"; and He fills us with courage especially during the storms in our lives.  He is always with us, assuring us, "it is I, do not be afraid." Christ longs to bring us His saving love in each sacrament, in each moment of prayer, in each act of kindness and in each gathering of worship.  Christ, who is truly alive in the Eucharist, comes to dwell in our hearts and fortifies us with the power of His Holy Sp...

18th Sunday in Ordinary Time - 8am & 10am Sunday Outdoor Masses
Dear St. Luke friends,  On this 18th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Christ comes to our rescue and addresses the famine we experience within our souls.  His heart is moved with great love for us and desires to offer us healing, strength and nourishment.  We are filled with His love each time we encounter Him, truly alive in the Eucharist. In spite of the challenges we face in our Church's sacramental life of worship, we continue to be thankful for Christ's gift of Himself in the Eucharist.  He is the Bread of Life who satisfies our hunger, c...
