Adult Faith Formation
There are numerous programs offered throughout the year to promote a further education or enrichment of Catholicism for adults. Among them are:
- The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) meets with people who have an interest or questions on what it means to be Catholic and those who wish to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Do you know of someone who...
- Has expressed an interest in becoming Catholic?
- Would like to learn more about the Catholic Faith?
- Was baptized Catholic as a child, but not completed their faith formation including: celebrating the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist?
Our RCIA Program will meet weekly every Thursday at 7:00 PM beginning September 26, 2024.
We offer the opportunity to come together to learn more about our Catholic faith. Sessions focus on our experience with God, the teaching and experience of the church, and prepare individuals to celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist during the Easter Season. You are welcomed to participate in the process with your questions, your insights, and your faith story in a warm, accepting, environment.
For further information, or to register in this program, please contact Barby Pickett at 650-430-1669 or call the parish office at 650-345-6660.
- The Faith Formation Program is for confirmed Catholics seeking an opportunity to further their understanding and appreciation for the Church and its teachings.
- There is a continuous program of training Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, and Altar Servers. Those interested in any of these ministries may inquire at the Parish Office.
