Baptism
Baptisms are normally held on the 2nd Sundays of the month at 1:30 PM in the church.
Please contact the Parish Office at (650) 345-6660 at least three months in advance to make arrangements, your completed application along with a copy of your child’s birth certificate is due before you schedule
Baptismal Preparation
Parents and Godparents must attend a baptismal preparation class before the baptism of their child. This preparation may be completed before the birth of the child.

English Class: 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6:30 PM at St. Timothy 1515 Dolan, San Mateo at St. Timothy Parish Rectory

Spanish Class: 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM at St. Timothy 1515 Dolan, San Mateo at St. Timothy Parish Rectory
Preparation must be completed before a baptism date can be scheduled.
Please email information@sttims.us to confirm your attendance at the class (let them know you are from St. Luke).
Reconciliation
Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession):
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is normally offered on Saturday afternoons from 4:00-4:30. Reconciliation services are also held during Advent and Lent.
Check our parish bulletin during these seasons for more information.
First Holy Communion:
First Communion is a two year process at St. Luke. The earliest a child can receive the sacrament is in second grade. Usually, the first year of the program is spent in general class with other students at the same grade level. The second year is a class with other students who are specifically preparing for First Communion.

Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) and Adult Confirmation
Are you seeking to return to the Church or interested in becoming Catholic? If you have questions about the Catholic faith, the OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) process is the best place to start. We meet every Thursday at 7:00 pm at both St. Luke and St. Timothy rotating from June through May.
Adult Confirmation and First Eucharist are celebrated at St. Luke or St. Timothy during the Easter Vigil.

Marriage
Couples requesting to be married at St. Luke must contact one of our parish priests at (650) 345-6660 at least six months in advance of the wedding date. Couples must attend marriage preparation either in the parish or any other approved program.
Weddings are normally celebrated on Saturdays.
Anointing the Sick
When a person is seriously ill, facing surgery or in danger of death, please call our parish priest at (650) 345-6660 to make an appointment for the Anointing of the Sick, or call the Parish Emergency number
