A Blessed 2021 to all our St. Luke Friends! - Greetings from our Pastor
Dear Friends in Christ, As 2020 draws to a close, a sad year for us due to the catastrophic pandemic, let us not fail to look back and thank God for the numerous blessings He has showered upon us. Although we have been deprived of our normal lives, separated from our loved ones, with limited activities, unable to freely worship the Lord, we remain grateful for the gift of God's divine Spirit who has brought Christ to our hearts and united all of us to His Heart as well. The Holy Spirit was able to manifest His power more than ever, through moments of spiritual ...

Let us together welcome the Christ Child… Serenade Him with songs led by our Youth Choir at our CHRISTMAS CONCERT at 9:30am. Our St. Luke’s CHRISTMAS DAY Holy Day of Obligation MASS immediately follows at 10:00am. The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Christ and Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host...

Dear Friends in Christ, On this Fourth Sunday of Advent, our anticipation of the coming of our Lord and Redeemer is about to be fulfilled.  Christ assures us that indeed, out of His greatest love for us, He is coming soon.  He is coming to our hearts as an infant Savior arising from the womb of our most Blessed Mother.   He is coming as the Son of the Most High, ruling as King in the throne of David, in an everlasting kingdom.  He is coming as the Son of God, saving us from this pandemic and all of life's trials and tribulation.  For nothing will be impossible for God. In our Advent ...

Dear Friends in Christ, On this Third Sunday of Advent, also called Gaudete Sunday, Christ reveals to us that He is the only true reason for rejoicing.  Christ calls us to rejoice for He is near, He is coming soon.  He is coming as the Light that dispels the dark winter nights of our lives - our sufferings and pain, our miseries and sorrows, our trials and difficulties. He is the Light that gives warmth and healing to our broken hearts.  He is the Light that shines for eternity, and no darkness can prevail over it. How do we let Christ's light enter and invade the nooks and corners o...

Dear Friends in Christ, On this Second Sunday of Advent, Christ comes to us through the voice of His herald, John the Baptist, calling us to "prepare the way of the Lord, make straight His paths." In patient love, Christ waits for all of us until we are fully united to Him.  Christ wishes to prepare our hearts as a manger for Him to dwell in.  No matter how often we have wandered far away from God, He never gives up on us. Like a shepherd, He gathers us, His lambs, and draws us back to His path.   God enters into the depths of our hearts through a gentle prompting from the Holy...
