Blessing of Pets (October 7, 2018)

Posted on September 28, 2018 in: General News

In commemoration of St. Francis of Assisi’s love for all creatures (feast day: October 4th), St. Luke will have a blessing of pets on Sunday, October 7, 12:00PM at the Church. Bring your creature friends and have them experience God's loving blessing.  "Wild animals and all cattle, small creatures and flying birds, kings of the earth and all nations, you princes and all rulers on earth, young men and maidens, old men and children. Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens."  (Psalm 148:10-13)
