Guardian of the Blessed Sacrament

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament here at St. Luke takes place in the Chapel every Thursday and First Friday of the month, from 9:00AM to 7:00PM. Much of that time there are parishioners in the chapel who come to adore the Blessed Sacrament.  However, there are some time gaps when there is no one in the chapel. In order that there is at least one parishioner in the chapel guarding the Blessed Sacrament during the entire time of the Exposition, there will be a sign-up sheet on the table in the Chapel foyer every day, with half-hour time slots, each slot for the name of one parishioner who will visit the Blessed Sacrament, designated as a “guardian” during that time period, on the following Thursday or First Friday.  This way, we can ensure that there is at least one parishioner who will act as Guardian of the Blessed Sacrament at all times during the Exposition.  Thank you and God reward you with His Eucharistic love and healing mercies.
