All are invited to attend the Healing Mass in Celebration of World Day of the Sick on February 2, 2019, 11:00a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption in San Francisco.

“a special time of prayer and sharing, of offering one’s sufferings for the good of the Church and of reminding everyone to see in his sick brother or sister the face of Christ who, by suffering, dying and rising, achieved the salvation of mankind.” St. John Paul II

Please offer to bring a loved one, a friend, a fellow parishioner who is struggling and who would be unable to come on their own.  There will be anointing of the sick, blessing of the caregiver and blessing with Lourdes water for all.

"Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven."  James 5:14-15
