Although the streets might have grown silent and been emptied, the Easter song still reverberates in our hearts, in our homes, in our Church. "We are an Easter people and Alleluia is our song," says St. Augustine. Alleluia! Jesus Christ has conquered the grave, and no virus and no circumstance can change that.
Let us thank God and rejoice in the blessings which remain -- the sunshine and clear blue skies, blooming flowers, the life of a newborn, the support of families and friends, and the hope we have in our Savior who has triumphed over death and brought us eternal life.
Prayers united with yours this Resurrection feast, dear friends.
Our Risen Lord continue to grant you protection and favors, until He gathers us together again as one St. Luke parish community!
In Christ,
Rev. Jonathan Paala
