Dear friends at St. Luke,
Greetings on this 3rd Sunday of Easter!
More than a month of sheltering-in-place, I hope and pray that you continue to experience God's providence and care, while following vital health precautions within and outside your homes.
Just as our Risen Savior manifested Himself to the disciples on the Road to Emmaus, I trust that He continues to reveal to you His love in the Breaking of the Bread, as you gather in fellowship with your families and friends (through social media), and especially as you participate in the Eucharistic Sacrifice of the Mass (broadcast or live streamed).
We continue to gather in Christ's name, united in His Spirit of faith, hope and love, in our sacrifices, acts of kindness, and prayers for one another and for those who are suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic. We entrust all to God, Who makes all things possible.
Thankful to have you all as part of our parish. I appreciate all your support and prayers and I look forward to seeing you all in St. Luke's, offering our praises to God as one faith community.
God's blessings and protection in your lives this coming week.
In Christ,
Rev. Jonathan Paala
