Dear St. Luke friends,
On this 16th Sunday in Ordinary Time, we are consoled by the Lord that in the midst of the uncertainties we face about the future, His promise to us, His children, remains certain--His love for us conquers all and He assures us of a place in His kingdom in heaven.
We have a foretaste of the kingdom of heaven each time we worship God together at the Eucharistic Feast, in St. Luke Church or virtually at home. We thank the Lord for this gift and we ask Him for the grace to be united together in building His kingdom here on earth. Our small acts of faithfulness, like devoting time to commune with God in prayer, helping those in need, sharing God's love with others will make a lasting difference.
In spite of the difficult situation we are facing, I wish to thank you for making a difference through your continuous support of our parish. Your prayers and generous donations help a lot in sustaining our regular church services, our utilities and normal operating expenses. Please continue sending your donations either through online donation (click here to donate), mail, or dropping them in the office mail box or in the Sunday collection box.
I pray that you and your families will be blessed and kept safe always by our merciful Savior.
In Christ,
Rev. Jonathan Paala
Pastor
