Dear St. Luke friends,

On this 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Christ runs to us whenever we call out to Him, "Lord, save us!"; and He fills us with courage especially during the storms in our lives.  He is always with us, assuring us, "it is I, do not be afraid."

Christ longs to bring us His saving love in each sacrament, in each moment of prayer, in each act of kindness and in each gathering of worship.  Christ, who is truly alive in the Eucharist, comes to dwell in our hearts and fortifies us with the power of His Holy Spirit as we celebrate around His table of Sacrifice in our St. Luke Church grounds or at home through virtual Mass.

Let us continue storming heavens with our prayers and merciful act offerings and entrust all to the Heart of Christ who calms the turbulence of our sufferings and difficulties.

God's blessings, care and protection be upon all of you.

In Christ, with gratitude and prayers for all of you,

Rev. Jonathan Paala

Pastor
