Dear Friends in Christ,
On this 12th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Christ comes to save us and promises us that He is sovereign over all.
When life seems to be an unceasing wave of distress and when storms and tribulations continue to assail us, it might seem that God is distant and absent. But Christ assures us that He has never abandoned us, neither will He ever allow us to perish. He is with us as the captain of our lives, He is in control of our boat, He just waits for us to call on Him in faith. And with just a word and with the power of His love, He will lead us to quiet and still waters within the harbor of His Heart.
As we come together this Sunday to worship our King, let us surrender all our troubles and anxieties at the Altar of the Lord. Let His divine Spirit take over and bring peace and pardon to our tumultuous and contrite hearts. Let us also thank God for calming the COVID-19 storm and for leading us back to His house of worship with less restrictions, for reuniting us with our fellow parishioners and with our loved ones.
In thanksgiving to our Abba Father in Heaven who has power and control over all crises and maladies, let us celebrate the might of His Father's love as we honor Him, St. Joseph, and all the fathers in our lives. For as high as the heavens above, great is the depth of our Father's love for us. Behold, new things have come...Behold, Christ's love and peace has come...
In Christ, with thankful prayers,

Jesus rebuked the wind, and said to the sea,
“Quiet! Be still!”
The wind ceased and there was great calm.
