INDUSTRIOUS VOLUNTEERS WANTED

to help in our parish clean-up day on Saturday, July 17, 10AM – 3PM

In anticipation of St. Luke Church fully opening and welcoming us in time for summer, we are taking this opportunity to give its facilities - Church, Chapel, Community Center, garden and property - a good (somewhat delayed) spring cleaning!

If you would like to volunteer and help, we ask for a minimum of two hours of your time during the day, and please designate whether you want to work indoors or outdoors.

The indoor team will dust, wash, and clean the pews, woodwork, windows, and rafters throughout the church and chapel, (and perhaps the light fixtures).  The outdoor team will rake, plant, trim, weed, window wash, etc..  Bosco Ho is coordinating the outdoor effort and Regina Carbon is coordinating the indoor work.

With many hands pitching in, it’s a community-building event.  A quick lunch and refreshments will be provided.

To volunteer, please do one of the following:

Email us your name, phone number and email address, with the time and number of hours you can offer.  Send to: saintlukefc@gmail.com ;    or

Add your name and information to the sign-up sheet after Masses in the parish community center.

Bring a pair of work gloves for your use; and, if you have a bucket or pail to lend, bring it as well!

A quick lunch and drinks will be provided.
