Fr. Manuel Igrobay was ordained to the priesthood on December 9, 1989 as a member of a missionary congregation called the Society of the Divine Word, popularly known as SVD. A year after his ordination, he received his first mission assignment and was sent to Paraguay, South America. He served there for 4 years, learned the Spanish language and lived the culture of the Paraguayans.
He started to serve in the Archdiocese of San Francisco in 2007 and from then on was assigned to different parishes within the Archdiocese. Before coming to St. Timothy and St. Luke’s Church, he was the assistant pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Daly City.
