Are you called to serve the Lord as Proclaimer of the Word or as Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion? The Archdiocese of San Francisco Office of Worship will be offering an in-person ministry training on November 6 & 13, 2021.
- During the first Saturday, ministers are introduced to sacramental theology, particularly that of the Eucharist.
- The following Saturday presenters who are trained offer technical and spiritual direction for the minister’s specific liturgical role.
- Finally, Extraordinary Ministers prepare for bringing Holy Communion to the sick and homebound, while Readers conclude with coaching in proclamation and oral interpretation.
This training is for new and experienced liturgical ministers and fulfills the requirement of the Archdiocese to be certified every three years for these ministries.
Please visit the parish office to register no later than October 22, 2021. Click here for more details.
