Let our Lord fill our Hearts with THANKS and GIVING!
All throughout the year, we celebrate the Eucharist each day. Eucharist means THANKSGIVING. On this Thanksgiving Day, God calls us to gather at His Eucharistic table and GIVE Him THANKS for all the blessings He has bestowed upon us. All are invited to join our Thanksgiving Day Mass at 9:00am. Bring your Thanksgiving dinner bread & wine (and some to share with our brothers and sisters in need) and receive a special blessing at the end of the Mass.
A blessed and Spirit-filled holiday with your families!
A Thanksgiving Dinner Prayer:
Our Loving Father in Heaven, we bow our hearts to You and offer You thanks for all You have given, especially for the gift of Jesus, Your Son, for the bounties of nature, Your splendor we see, for happiness and health, families and friends. Lord, we are thankful for this food and the love that we share. Bless this food, and teach us to know by whose will we are fed. Feed those who hunger and nourish our souls that we might live with Christ, the true living bread, and grow ever closer to You, in love and service of You and one another. Amen.
It is good to give thanks to the LORD and
to sing praises to Your name, O Most High.
