Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

As another year draws to a close, we remain grateful for all the blessings that the Lord has bestowed upon us.  In spite of the challenges and trials, God, with the strength of His arm, has made us pull through.  And, like our Blessed Mother, we treasure all the good things that the Lord has done for us.

Recall all the wonderful gifts that the Lord has showered you with.  Bring those with you in your heart as you come to His Eucharistic banquet in thanksgiving to God for all that 2021 has been.  Seeking the intercession of our Blessed Mother, present to God all that your heart aspires for in 2022... a better relationship with the Lord... reconciliation with a loved one... fulfillment and meaning in life... being reunited with loved ones... Holy Spirit's enlightenment and courage to do God's will in all things... the grace to love God above all and to love one another as God has commanded us...

And as your aspiration becomes united with the aspiration of Christ this coming year, your heart will be more open to the blessings and graces of our Abba, Father. His face will shine upon you and He will be gracious to you.  He will look upon you with great kindness and will give you peace.

Therefore, let us look forward to 2022 with trust in our Father's never failing love and mercies, believing that Christ, our Prince of Peace, the Holy Spirit, Bringer of Peace, and our Blessed Mother, Queen of Peace, are forever with us and are forever leading us to the bosom of our Father's unfathomable love.  As one St. Luke parish community, consecrated in God's love, let us continue our mission to live and share the good news of Christ to one and all.

In the service of Jesus Christ,

Fr. Al and Fr. Manuel
